Flextile Ltd., a manufacturing division of parent company Olympia Tile International Inc, was formed in 1980 as a vinyl composition tile and flooring adhesives manufacturer located in Toronto, Canada. In 1982 the company expanded its production facilities to include the manufacture of installation materials for the ceramic tile and stone industries. GoBoard® by Johns Manville is an ultra-lightweight, waterproof, durable tile backer board that is easy to cut and install, and weighs up to 85% lighter than traditional cement boards allowing for same-day tile. GoBoard is engineered and tested for strength and durability, yet can be cut right where it’s installed using a standard utility knife with minimal dust.
